Refracted

Refracted is a film that explores the tension between clarity and illusion, what is visible yet altered, through the lens of the observer. Inspired by the organic delicacy of flowers seen through distorted glass, the work invites viewers to question perception itself.

Petals, stems, and color fields blur, refract, and ripple as if suspended behind a warped surface, echoing how our increasingly mediated world shapes our relationship with nature. The natural forms of flowers are transformed through the distortion of glass, creating a dialogue between the organic and the digital.

Rather than presenting a clear image, Refracted invites the viewer to lean in, reframe, and reconsider what they perceive. It is not only about distortion, but about the beauty that emerges through it.
