Hup.Studio x Zhihui Design Studio
Soft Place is a silicone ring crafted from a unique type of silicone commonly used in soft robotics. The material has a skin-like texture and is highly deformable. Each piece is handmade, with carefully selected and blended colors. The designer sees Soft Place as an open invitation for users to define its purpose through their own creativity and imagination. It can serve as a decoration piece, a tactile object to ease anxiety, or simply a soft space to release stress.
At Hup.Studio, we used Soft Place as inspiration to create a visual poem. We brought to life the way its soft material gently morphs, reflecting calmness and serenity. The rings stretch and relax, inviting viewers to experience a moment of calm.
