Elegant Plane

2019 was marked by the passing of its founder, Serge Dassault. Yet the company management decided to keep away from the notion of nostalgia and mourning for this film. The goal was to emphasize their vision for the future.

We decided to show the planes as packshots. For the lighting and texturing we were inspired by the Harcourt Style, revealing the stylized curves of the brand’s 3 flagship planes through alternating light sets. The jazzy and joyful sound-design counterbalances with the dominant military image commonly associated with the Dassault brand.

A little later, Dassault came back to us to ask us to make a new video of their aircraft, which had since evolved considerably.
This video is a condensed version of a series about each of the planes and their new options.
