Silversmith since 1820, the House
of Puiforcat is drawing on its
century of expertise to offer a
complete range of the silversmith’s
art de vivre, suited to contemporary
use. Puiforcat largely owes its fame
to its founder Jean Puiforcat
(1897-1945), one of the leading
proponents of Art Deco who, in the
1920's, applied his penchant for
modernist thinking and rigorous,
geometric design to silversmithing.
In 1993, Puiforcat was acquired by
Hèrmes.
